I have been a Baroque trumpet specialist, performing and recording with many of North America’s best-known period-instrument orchestras for several decades, and I have been taking photographs for even longer. Today I continue to play the trumpet while increasingly devoting more time to my photography.

Living in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina gives me abundant opportunities to explore and document the natural beauty of this region, while my trumpet work also allows me to travel to other wonderful and picturesque places around the world.
